I’m a proficient and creative Graphic Designer/Layout Artist with 10 years of comprehensive experience looking to make a change to the publication print design field. As an abstract acrylic painter, I paint with several tools, including palette knives, paint brushes, old socks and underwear, rags, my hands and colored pencils for line overlays. My paintings represent thoughts passing through my mind, and rarely have only one focus. I tend to paint landscapes and imagery of cities, depicted by squares and rough edges.
I'm a self-taught artist, and I first began creating art in grade school, daydreaming and drawing pictures in class, rather than paying attention to the teacher. I found that I could both absorb lessons and draw at the same time, as drawing became a meditation. Later, I became interested in painting as a stress coping method in my early 20's. Since then, I have found painting to be less of a coping method, and consequently, enjoyable.

I have been designing professional hardware store advertisements, brochures, trade show materials and fliers for 10 years. I am proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat. As a layout designer, I enjoy making websites, and I also like pushing my skills and abilities by attempting new layout formats. I'm excited and open to trying new approaches to design and typography.
More recently, I've begun to design cassette and CD design, logos, flyers, button design, business cards and wedding stationary.

When I am not painting, I’m composing harsh, spastic noise & ambient industrial soundscapes. I aim to create music that leaves listeners with a sense of loneliness and alienation that often bursts into moments of paranoia and terror, with the futurist bent of constant, abrupt and violent change. I articulate sound in many ways, from lazy legato drones to pounding percussion & metallic spikes; shrieking walls of sound and high-pressure hissing.
